The job title of project manager at CrisLinks is, in many ways, a placeholder: the company is trying to identify a project manager to lead the new company’s new media business.
“We’ve been searching for the right person for a while, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve chosen Joanne Jackson, our new project manager,” CEO and founder Jason Seidle said in a statement.
“Joanne has a proven track record in the industry, and she’s the perfect fit to lead this exciting new venture.”
Jackson, who previously served as senior director of media strategy for a venture capital firm, has been with Cric since December.
Prior to that, she spent six years at the company as vice president of business development, and in that role she oversaw a number of initiatives including the acquisition of a mobile app, an expanded website and the development of a new sports channel.
Cric, which began as a media site, expanded to a full-fledged app last year, and has been acquired by Univision.
